The henchmen add a lot of depth to the gameplay because there's a unique way to take each one out and you can't expect to simply jump or dash through each of them. In each level you'll be assigned a task like defeating a boss or reaching the end of some kind of facility and, along the way, you'll also have to defeat henchmen that have been sent by the enemy to stop you in your tracks. The core gameplay is the same but the game can't really be considered truly endless because there are actual levels to complete. In terms of gameplay, Spider-Man Unlimited bases itself on the same endless runner gameplay concepts that have been around in this genre for so many years now. One thing worth mentioning is the fact that the tutorial can't be skipped and this might put a few players off but, thankfully, the tutorial isn't all that long so this isn't that big of an issue. Learning the basics of Spider-Man Unlimited is no difficult task because there isn't anything complex to get the hang of and, on top of this, the game starts its new players off with an easy to follow tutorial sequence that's been designed to explain all the basics to them in a matter of minutes. All things considered, if you're looking for a high quality runner game with a super hero twist, this game is the way to go.
